To survive today—if you’re not male, white and “well” educated—you now have to play a new game. Which is to optimize yourself for AI. To AI you must not simply prove that you are human. You must prove that you are a human of worth. Not a human of trash. It’s such perfect strategy from Big Tech. First they release AI in the wild for “free”. Then the addiction and dependency start. To simply survive in an AI world, you must use AI, further embedding AI in society. You cannot live offline without paying the AI middleman whiteman. You can’t go to the supermarket, to the bank, to the hospital. You cannot get a job, keep a job, without paying the AI middle whiteman.

So people are trying to fight AI with AI. If you’re a minority student, or an autistic student, you must make sure that you use ChatGPT as much as possible to do your writing. Ask your friends. They’ll tell you that when they send emails to their professors written by AI, they’re more likely to get a reply, because they were written in such excellent whiteman English. If you are a minority, and you don’t use AI, instead you write in your own words, the AI system will actually mark you out as using AI because you will have written in a way that’s not white enough. Yes, we are approaching a stage that if you don’t use AI, you will be labelled a cheat, you will be labelled as not human because you’re not whiteman enough. AI systems that are designed to detect English content written by AI have been found to misidentify the actual, true and genuine writing of non-native speakers as AI written. They have been found to be twelve times—twelve times—more likely to misidentify such content from non-native speakers as to misidentify the content of native speakers. So, AI punishes you, as a non-native or minority, if you write in your own words. It’s all deliberate. It’s all part of the design.

The computer algorithms—AI’s evolutionary cousins—have long been known to target older people and minorities, stripping of them of their benefits, downgrading or eliminating their services, charging them much higher for car insurance, all sorts of nasty stuff that drives profit growth and senior whiteman management bonuses. The management bonuses which have mushroomed along with the rise of Big Tech. Coincidence? The more you squeeze out that extra profit—that profit which you shouldn’t get—the greater your bonus will be, and one of the best ways of doing that is by exploiting vulnerable and unprotected groups. That’s what modern technology has excelled at. I once heard a con artist boast that before the Internet he had to work hard to identify his targets. “The Internet,” he laughed, “it brings them to me!” The Internet is the grand casino of the grifter. It’s the net that grifters use to go fishing for fools.
